To say that the world has become a global village is now an understatement. The most significant driving force behind this phenomenon of globalization has been none other than knowledge economy. Pakistan has been rather slow to catch up with the worldwide trends in education. However, the need and importance of professional education has risen by the day. Our students must be exposed to the best possible educational opportunities to be able to compete at the international level. However, the government alone cannot address the enormous needs of education sources because of the paucity of resources.
